The highest-paying affiliate niches (and why)
Not all affiliate niches are created equal. The difference between a few percent on a one-off physical sale and a recurring commission that pays for years is enormous — and it's worth understanding before you pick a lane.
Recurring software pays best
Software and SaaS programs often pay a percentage of the subscription for as long as the customer stays — sometimes for life. One referral can pay out for years, which makes recurring software the most lucrative category for a site that can attract the right audience.
High-ticket, high-intent
Hosting, financial products, and B2B tools pay generous per-sale commissions because the customer is worth a lot to the merchant. Fewer sales, but each one is meaningful — ideal for content with strong buying intent.
Physical goods: volume game
General retail programs pay modest percentages on physical products. They convert easily and suit high-traffic lifestyle content, but you need volume to make them add up.
